Passion that became a profession
Hi, my name is Tomasz Furdal. I believe a smart home should make life easier, not add frustration. My journey to Home Assistant started with a passion for Linux, electronics, and practical problem-solving. Because of this, I help organize the system so it runs stably and makes sense in everyday use.
Linux Foundation
I understand the system Home Assistant runs on, making it easier to diagnose issues with configuration, integrations, and stability.
Understanding of Electronics
I look not only at code and automations but also at the hardware, power supply, communication, and real-world operation of devices in the home.
Logic and Stability
I help build automations that not only look good but, above all, work predictably and are comfortable to use.
What is your current situation?
You already have Home Assistant, but the system does not work as it should
- Zigbee sometimes doesn't respond
- Automations are inconsistent
- Lack of order and control
- You want to add integrations and have convenient control
- You want aesthetic, readable dashboards
You are just getting started with Home Assistant and need a structured start
- You do not know which devices to start with
- You want to avoid random purchases
- You need simple controls and clear dashboards
- You want to organize automations and logic from the beginning
- You want a system that can be expanded easily later
How does the collaboration work?
1) Request, diagnosis, and quote
You describe the problem or goal. I check whether I can help, then present the proposed scope and cost of the work.
2) Implementation, testing, and completion
If Home Assistant is already running, you create a separate service account for the duration of the work. For a new installation, we first start the system and you create your own administrator account, followed by a separate service account for further configuration. If needed, and with your consent, I install a supporting tool. I only make the agreed changes, we test the results together, and you delete the service account when the work is complete.
The initial assessment and preparation of a quote are free.
Written advice
Help with choosing devices and planning system expansion based on your needs. You receive written recommendations that you can implement yourself.
- response prepared by email
- no changes made to the system
Repairs and optimization
The price depends on the specific problem and the scope of work required.
- scope and cost confirmed before work begins
- only agreed changes are implemented
- additional work requires prior approval
Smart Home project
Larger implementations and expansions are quoted after analysing your needs and the existing installation.
- the project can be divided into stages
- scope agreed before work begins
- cost depends on the size of the project
